The MBA Department was started its functions in the Academic year 2009 with an initial intake of 60 students. The main VISION of the department is “to develop the competent managers and entrepreneurs to this competitive world”. The young blossoming managers should have a tremendous responsibility to sense, understand and act according to emerging situations. They will have to evolve concepts and practices of their own on the basis of experience and imagination. The department boasts of its qualified and experienced faculty in teaching. It comprises 8 faculty members.
History : The Tuck School in New Hampshire was the first to develop the MBA program at the beginning of the previous century. This program was developed originally as an administrative qualification, emphasizing finance and accounting. In the l950’s, the new Harvard business school developed a program for teaching which serves as the basis for most business school training till the present day.
In short, MBA stands for a Master of Business Administration degree. But MBA stands for more than just the words Master of Business Administration. It stands for commitment to improve them. MBA Department inaugurated Management Students Activities Club named “SYNERGY” to strengthen the potentials of the students and conducted many seminar classes with the guest lecturers and interaction classes with the HR Managers of several companies. We conduct Business Quiz programmes, Personality Development classes regularly to the students. We conducted an III National Level Management meet– SYNERGY-2K11 on Dec-18th, 2011.
The students organized so many Programmes, initially they started with Business Quiz to their own classmates with several rounds which provides knowledge about the Logos, Punch lines, CEO’s, Brand ambassadors, Advertisements, Ad Tunes, Company head quarters and their marketing strategies etc., and Organized Paper Presentations by different teams with 2 participants each & finally Group Discussion by dividing the Organizers into two groups.
All these Programmes provided a good knowledge & clearance on MBA usefulness in the World & how to communicate with the outside World.

- And Every Monday and Thursday they wear cream & Black combination of dress( ie., Cream color shirts or salwar kamiz and the black pants)
- In addition to this whenever we conduct the programmes/events/seminars/interactions classes students wear blazer suit.
